Upcoming Trips
Please complete and return the relevant permission slip and send payment into school as soon as possible. Also, please note the times children need to be in school, when they are back and the equipment they need for their trip.

Year 5 - Cuerden Valley Trip - Monday 22nd April
As part of last terms geography topic on Rivers, children from year 5 will be visiting Cuerden Valley on Monday 22nd April.
During this trip the children will take part in a "River studies" learning session followed by lunch and a wild trail walk around the park.
Children must be in school on time as the mini-buses will be leaving promptly at 9.15am; we aim to return to school at 3pm (depending on traffic)

Year 1- Fairhaven Lake - Tuesday 30th April
As part of this terms science topic, children from year 1 will be visiting Fairhaven Lake, on Tuesday 30th April.
During this trip the children will take part in a workshop called ‘Brilliant Birds!’
This trip will take place in the morning and the children will be back in school for lunchtime. Children must be in school on time as the mini-buses will be leaving promptly at 9.15am; we will return to school at approximately 11.30am.

Key Stage 2 Choir - Unveiling a Blue Plaque for Victoria Monks - Friday 19th April
St John's C of E Primary School Choir has been invited to attend the unveiling of a Blue Plaque for the Blackpool born and bred performer, Victoria Monks.
The KS2 choir will be singing some music hall songs at the unveiling and the British Music Hall Society welcomes all to pop by and witness the unveiling of the plaque.
